Trodden Earth, a new exhibition is now open at the Museum of Zoology and the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (MAA). The exhibition was co-curated by sixth form students as part of Ä۲ݵçӰ’s award-winning outreach programme ‘Cambridge Future Museum Voices’.

The 29 young participants, all from groups currently underrepresented at the university, came from schools across the UK to Ä۲ݵçÓ° for a week’s residential in April. Trodden Earth is the result of their hard work and creativity during the residential co-curation workshops. The exhibition explores how human lives are evolving alongside our changing environment.

Participants returned to Cambridge on Saturday 28th September with their friends and family for a VIP launch event of the exhibition at the two Museums. The event featured an inspiring keynote talk on the archaeology of chocolate by Dr Trish Biers, and a special lunch in the Great Hall with family and friends, followed by a private after-hours viewing of the new exhibition.

Trodden Earth is on at the Museum of Zoology and the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology from now until the end of 2024.
